Yes. It is possible to hold both. Many people have held it in the past including me. Have taken fee waiver of Gold Charge simply on the basis of Platinum Charge card for two straight years.

There are many people who have still achieved this after the RBI Ban has been lifted.

Could be a miss out from Amex, but it still works and is possible to get second charge card. The only Caveat being that it needs to be Gold Charge first and then Platinum Charge. Not the other way around.

I think you can have 1 charge and 2 credit cards together.
