What is the typical timeline for reward points to get credited for Axis cards?

For gifts portal, bonus (3x/5x. etc.) points get credited 120 days from transaction. (~4 months)

And what about the travel edge transactions, and general online transactions?
And monthly milestone benefit points?

Do the base points also get credited with bonus ones or do they arrive early?

Base points come generally after transaction settlement ie around 3 days.

TravelEdge takes 1-2 weeks, though sometimes it has taken longer. Monthly milestone in about 80-90 days

Points are credited within 3-10 days

Base points are credited within 3-10 days
Bonus points (n-1)x are credited within 90-120 days

Grabdeals
Points are credited between 90-120 days

Monthly milestone
Points credited between 15th-31st of the month that occurs 3 months after the spend month (so January points will come in April)

TravelEdge
Points are credited within 10-30 days. Can sometimes take even longer, sometimes within less than 10 days

only 5x and 10x takes upto 120days..

No. Milestone ER for Feb is not yet credited.

5x/10x can take upto 120 days from date of transaction. If not received within this timeline, you should contact the customer care.

I’m wondering as the number of Magnus users have increased in recent times, by the time they credit the bonus points, there might possibly be another devaluation and all those points could fetch less than their value now!

I don’t understand why is there a 120 day buffer? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I could be wrong, but maybe it is a retention tactic? If you have a large number of pending points, you are less likely to close the card

Hi. I checked with Axis customer care. Regular Edge rewards take anywhere between 3 and up to 12 working days to be posted to your account.

The reason for 3 months days lead time for Bonus ER (which I agree is annoyingly long) is to prevent misuse by users who place an online order and return it in 1-2 months. 3 months is normally above the cutoff time for such return policies on online orders.

reasoning is 50% acceptable, but if someone actually wants to misuse, there are ample ways out there, it'll only mitigate the misuse to the extent of 10%, ideal timeline should be 45 Days.

Also this logic shouldnt apply to Gyftr coupons as you cannot refund them to get money back. That is the reason why Amex etc credit bonus points for Gyftr transactions within 3-4 days. I understand the issue with grabdeals though. Milestone is a tricky one since someone could have shopped on some website that accepts refunds/returns for a long period but i do not know a single vendor who has a 90 day return period !!

I am not sure everyone's facing this issue but I am experience a huge delay in base ER.
Its 05th June and I have not received any points for txn on and after 25th May (> 10 days).
Though I have received the milestone ER on 29th May.
Can anyone confirm this please?

Thats not a huge delay my friend.. Axis does take that much time.. my last base ER recieved was on 29th may for a transaction done on 25th may
