Unable to pay AU LIT credit card bill using HDFC bill pay service

I added AU LIT CC in HDFC Bill pay service. But while paying, its getting failed and getting below SMS. Any one succeeded?

Paid my AU LIT outstanding via HDFC bill pay yesterday and it payment went through successfully. Received confirmation from AU as well.

i added biller last week.. i tried twice yesterday.. both times, i got same error.. not sure whats wrong.. I used to pay the due within AU app itself but its accepting only rupay debit cards. So thought to give a try in hdfc bill pay.

Wait for bill generation. If you have added this card recently..

AU is via BBPS. Is the bill amount being fetched properly, before you are paying. For BBPS bills, you can't pay unless the bill is generated.

No.. its been more than 10days.. my due is 5th feb..

Unless you haven't already paid it off via other means, it should have been fetched by hdfc. raise a concern with hdfc please. And pay the bill off from other means this time. Due date is too close.

I deleted the biller, tried adding newly. This time it fetched bill amount but while paying, getting error. Crazy hdfc..

oops...you are late.. i deleted biller and added again.. need to wait for 24hrs to try this...

God bless good souls.. You are right. It worked in netbanking smoothly. Stupid hdfc. Also, i found one more thing. Within 24hrs, you can make payments upto 10000 (4x2500) allowed. Beyond that its failing. @JimCarrey fyi
