Unable to redeem SBI IRCTC credit card reward points

Today i tried redeeming SBI IRCTC credit card reward points but I could not find any option for it. I am getting this error message that "Purchase of IRCTC points not allowed as you have no privilege for redemption".
Also my "Loyalty Acount Status: AANR".
Can someone help me what's going on.

Is your SBI IRCTC Credit card active? If yes, how old is it? Is the annual fee for the current year paid? Are you redeeming it while booking an AC ticket for you (the primary cardholder)?

Yes my card is active. But this time I got fee waiver from SBI, so I didn't paid the fees. Yes I am trying to book AC CC seat. My account status is shown as Accural Allowed Not redemption

Looks like SBI hasn't paid the fees on your behalf to IRCTC. So IRCTC must be waiting for it which could have led to them keeping your account active. Only after they receive the fees, you will be able to redeem the reward points.

Ask SBI to sort it out with IRCTC.

Usually what works is if your card is more than an year old, you can raise an LTF request or a closure request. The retention team will take a decision to offer to waive/reverse the fees after looking at the spendings and other things.

Anyone having IRCTC Rupay variant SBI Card - are you able to redeem points on IRCTC. I saw lots cardholders having issues with redemption. Every time I try it shows technical error. Anyone who has sucessfully redeemed points recently?
