Unable to Tokenize My Credit Card Due to OTP Issue

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with tokenizing my Axis Bank credit card for digital wallets like Google Pay and Samsung Wallet. The problem is that I’m not receiving the verification OTP required to complete the process.

Has anyone else encountered this issue? If so, how did you resolve it? Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Are u trying with axis ace card? If yes then sometimes OTP delay's has been seen.

No, I am trying with Flipkart and Airtel card.

When I try to add any credit card in Google Pay, Amazon Pay, Payzapp, or Neu app, it asks for Rs 2 transaction to secure the card and it just gets stored or saved there permanently. What is the use of it? Can we pay via these cards through these apps?
I am trying to understand what is the need for adding cards in these apps?

(Adding 5-6 cards on 5-6 apps makes it around Rs 100/-)

my indusind delights debit card is mastercard, can't tokenise in Netflix for monthly subscription. After entering OTP for Rs.2 transaction, I am getting error to retry payment method. Strange!

I noticed that Google Pay lets you add Visa and MasterCard credit cards.

Today only?😐

What are the benefits of adding them?

You can make payments for utilities on G-pay using it. You can even pay scanning Bharat QR, last but not least Tap and Pay.

Can you track spending or pay without the physical card?

Unfortunately you need to search in txh history. Unlike Google Wallet or Samsung Wallet you cannot see txn history of a particular card under particular head.

Also, does the phone need NFC for tap & pay?

Yes, it's obvious without it how can even payments...

unless I use for tap & pay, never added to any shopping app (and not needed till now), I manually enter each time using auto-fill service.
