Unable to Transfer Edge points to friend's IHG member id

Unable to Transfer Edge points (from Magnus) to friend's IHG membership id. Is there any restriction based on name?

In general yes, these rewards are only for the cardholder/member and no one else. It is usually not allowed to barter, sell or exchange them in any way. In some cases it is allowed only within the household/family for pooling points or transferring points among them.

points getting transferred into my IHG immediately but when i try to transfer to him its failing
