Upgrade offer for Amex Platinum Charge Card, is it recommended?

I am holding Infinia, DCB, Magnus credit cards. I do travel, but don't really indulge in a lot of luxury travel. Does it make any sense to get an Amex Platinum Charge Card? I have an Amex MRCC and I have been offered an upgrade.

If you are getting 1.25 lac MR points, it will make sense for the first year as you are also getting elite status benefits from marriott, hilton, etc. 1.25 lac MR points could easily recover the fee paid

No, its a common offer these days - 50K voucher which I am royally ignoring.

Best option was to take 1.25L MR points, but that is not applicable now 🙁

That's what. So basically, what are the actual real world scenarios in which Amex Platinum Charge Card would really be a differentiator from the other super premium cards? They offer a lot of elite tier memberships, but it's just too much related to travel, you won't use ALL those memberships in a year, plus you'll have to spend a bomb anyway to stay at those places, even with discounts.
