ICICI Credit Card Urgent: Unable to Confirm International Transaction on ICICI Credit Card While Abroad

Hello Technofino community,

I recently made an international transaction using my ICICI credit card, and I am now receiving calls from the bank to confirm the transaction. Unfortunately, I am currently out of India and unable to answer these calls.

What should I do in this situation?

1. Will my transaction be canceled if I don't confirm it?
2. Is there a risk of my card being blocked due to unconfirmed activity?
3. Are there alternative ways to confirm the transaction (like email or online banking)?

Any guidance on how to handle this would be greatly appreciated.

Get in touch with your RM on whatsapp and confirm the transaction and ask the RM to coordinate.
Bank may block it, if transactions are regularly happening and not been confirmed when asked for

Write an email to griecence readressal with your name, last 4 digits of card and stating that you made the purchase and you can’t pick up because you’re not in the country.

I had the same problem as you and this is how I got my HDFC Card unblocked.
