Using Millennia cc for utility payment for 5% CB(solved)

I already had around 13k amazon pay balance via gift cards from other CCs, but i wanted to earn 5% on utility payments too (ik im greedy). So i paid 7.4k for light bill using previous gc and added new gc with the same value then and there.

Today I wanted to make another payment so i checked my apay balance and was surprised to see that my new gc was not reflected even thoughi could see it in my transaction history. So i furiously contacted amazon regarding the same and they saud that i added shopping vouchers and not gift vouchers, hence those 4 vouchers won't be reflected in my account. I'm too confused at this point as all the vouchers i got till date were from gyfter but they all were GC and not Shopping vouchers. I also checked that most of them had expiry of January month, which doesnt make any sense since i bought them yesterday. They Literally shipped 3 months old vouchers to me and i added them blindly to my account!

Is there any way i could reconcile this? Else I would need to spend 7.3k for no reason till January.

ASV: Shopping & other brand GV buying only
APay eGC: Utilities, Shopping, Recharges, etc.

If u got charged 1.25+GST on ur card then It's APay eGC, otherwise that's ASV

If u got charged 1.25+GST on ur card then It's APay eGC, otherwise that's ASV

That explains it man, i totally forgot last time i was charged 1.25% + gst extra😭.

Edit:- But incase one just wants to max out monthly cap, so as to make big purchase (>20k), the shopping voucher should be good right? I'm planning to purchase ps5 anyways so also wanted ways to receive benefit on entire amount rather than just 20k.
