Utility bills via AMex

Hello fellow AMEX users.

I recently purchased apay vouchers and loaded the gift cards on Amazon but it won't let me pay my electricity bills. Finally, had to pay on electricity portal without any reward points but with convenient fees.

What did I do wrong?
Also, how are you all making your utility bills payments with AMEX other than. APAY?

What was e bill amount you were trying to pay with apay balance?

About 14000 rs. My Amazon pay is only showing UPi.

My Amazon pay is showing gift cards balance but wallet balance is zero.

For 14000, I guess you should be able to pay with your Apay balance (loaded via GV)

Can you share the screenshot of payment option page (hiding personal details)

I think you bought shopping voucher instead of pay voucher. Check one more time

I added them as " add gift card to balance" on Amazon pay post purchase.

For 14000, I guess you should be able to pay with your Apay balance (loaded via GV)

ASV or Amazon Pay? i paid like 20k something electrciity bills and then i couldn't pay more.. amazon have restriction of up to 20k for single month.. so in same month did you paid any bill of more than 6k it could any utility bills that amazon pay supports. even though i feel you brought ASV instead of APay

You need to select Amazon for loading it as Apay balance.
