Very Important Question, regarding Rupay CC

A thought came in my mind that I have a merchant account I haven't used much it since created ( used once to check how it works).

Yesterday I transferred 500 inr from Rupay credit ( of my sister) to my merchant account & she didn't get charged for it, not even Penny.

Is this illegal in India. Transferring money from my credit card to another merchant account or vice versa ?


I searched on CHAT GPT & it told me it's very illegal & showed me IPC which can be imposed. Even it showed me it's merchant money laundering

Kindly provide me with right details so that I can refrain myself from such activities in future.

Its a Grey area, don't do it irresponsibly, also the merchant will be charged fees while settling and not the payer.

can we have multiple rupay select account in one email id or we will need to create separate accounts for the same ?
