Both but never in my life I got any allotment in Sme while Mainboard allotments are regular.

I have been applying for my 4 years old kid. Have been using HDFC Securities + HDFC Bank combo.

I was trying to use HDFC's regular ASBA way to apply for the IPO but it is showing my PAN number even for minor account number.

Is there any way to apply with Zerodha Demat account via ASBA facility of HDFC bank?

Double check with the bank if PAN is updated in minor’s account.

As per info available at HDFC portal, PAN can only be updated for major not for minors..

You need to visit the branch to get it updated.

In my case, since bank account and demat, both were in HDFC ecosystem, the PAN was updated automatically in the bank account after demat account opening.
