Vistara Co-Branded Credit Cards: No More Renewal & Milestone Benefits – IDFC First Bank & SBI Card

SBI Card and IDFC First Bank have notified their customers that Vistara co-branded credit cards will not receive any renewal benefits or spend-based milestone benefits if the card renewal date is on or after April 1, 2025.
In such cases, no annual fee will be charged. However, if your card renewal date is before April 1, 2025, you will be charged an annual fee and will continue to enjoy both renewal benefits and spend-based milestone benefits.

IDFC First Bank has also announced that its Vistara co-branded credit card will be discontinued and automatically closed on March 31, 2026. However, SBI Card has not provided any notification regarding card closure.

Since SBI Card is also a partner of Air India, it is likely that Vistara cardholders will be given the option to switch to Air India co-branded credit cards.

Milestone benefits will be discontued from when....
If I reach the next milestone on 10th march, will I get complimentary voucher or is it stopped from immediate effect

@TechnoFino

In your OP, year is showing as 24 in place of 25

Same question. My renewal is post 1st April. But I will be reaching one of the milestone before in march. So will I get the milestone benefits in that case ?

@TechnoFino Another user (@Ayushpaul7) had already started this thread yesterday on which we had a few interactions. In this thread, you have simply lifted the content without any attribution in order to make this grand announcement yourself. Why this heavy-handed treatment of your community members where you not only deleted that thread in order to post yours, but also didn’t have the courtesy to merge the old thread with this one? With this attitude, do you expect anyone to contribute to your forum?

This is unfair and such an attitude belittles the effort of forum members who are here simply to share their knowledge and experiences, which may sometimes be superior to yours.

I have a strong feeling you will delete this post also, so I’m going to take a screenshot this time.

I hold IDFC Vistara Card, but no notification from IDFC regarding the same.

My renewal falls before April 1, 2025 and Will I get the voucher from Air India on paying the renewal fees amount??
yes you will get voucher on renewal and also if any milestone in achieved before 1st april. Renewal fee will also be charged.

I believe for those whose renewals happened before 1st April, they'll continue to get milestone benefits until the next renewal after which benefits stop.

Although it's nowhere clarfified in their message.

And I was here thinking something was wrong with my account 🤣.
Atleast you could have mentioned in the original thread and merged the thread but you stopped replies first and then deleted the entire thread itself.
Everyone here just wants to share knowledge and stay up to date and grow together, but this is a unexpected coming from you @TechnoFino .
Very Very disappointed.

Thanks for bringing this to us...Surely we are here to help and listen and in no way this community is baised to any member..

That deletion has been restored as that was done erroneously...

Our mod team checks posts and deletes/merge duplicate threads if a more detailed thread is already available or if I have already posted about the topic. Ultimately, sharing information and knowledge is the end goal.
Honestly, I was unaware of your post when I created this thread. I have requested the mod team to undelete your post and keep it active.

We don’t need to keep both active, the better idea would be to merge any relevant posts from that one and delete it to avoid any confusion, as this post coming from @TechnoFino is bound to get more engagement.

E.g. @cc_dc_explorer question on IDFC was answered in the other post (which was a link to a Reddit post).
