Devaluation Wallet Load, EMI Cashback ended by HDFC (Millennia Credit Card) W.e.f 01 Sep 2024

Just received the email,Wallet load with Millennia is killad by HDFC.(No reward points from 1Sep,2024)

Millennia will attract 59 rupees reward redemption from 1August,24.

Millennia will not offer 1% anymore for EMI transactions. (From 1Sep,24)

Rest in peace, my favourite HDFC card, Millennia.

For, utility the capping is shown 2000,
Where Millenia has capping of 1000 for select merchants.
So, will we get cashbacks upto 1000 for Millennia for making utility payments through Amazon pay?

For easy EMI , they were providing 1% , now they ended that also.
Probably after issuing so many LTF Millennia, this devaluations are coming.
And more to come in future, I guess.

Amazon starred charging hefty amount of convenience fees for utilities. I went to pay my electricity bill, They are charging 1%+gst extra.
Later, I used Axis Ace for that payment in gpay.

And Amazon stopped, combining Amazon pay balance+credit/debit card for payments.
So, in future, we have to avoid Amazon for large bill payments, I guess.

Millennia was different from other cards in the market for that wallet 1% cashback.

That's a good value card now from HDFC currently because of statement credit.
Millennia will attract 59 rupees reward redemption fees from next month.
So , cashback you get , has less value now.
