I want to buy 1000 usd currency using sbi cashback credit card. Which website out of bookmyforex or Thomas cook will give cashback sure short.

Both accept credit card. Bookmyforex takes 2.5% extra charges and Thomas cook takes 1% extra charges.

So I wanted to know if anyone got cashback with their swipe

I got the quote from Thomas cook (which was higher than Bookmyforex). Bargained a bit on the call (still final quote higher than Bookmyforex). Then they reduced the exchange rate which was originally listed on website. A payment link was shared by them on mail.

Then I paid exchange rate + 0.18% gst + 1% card processing fees.

I got 5% cashback (13/01/2025). Merchant name: Thomas Cook India Limited Bangalore.

Bookmyforex charges 2.5% for swiping the card.

So I would suggest others to opt for Thomas cook using SBI credit card. As the final price with card & cashback is less than Bookmyforex + merchant name comes as Thomas cook (so sure short cashback)

After doing complete online payment. There is an option to pick from Thomas cook office as well or you can get it delivered to your address.

Yes, you will get to count and verify. I will update about this in next 2 days. As I have opted for delivery

Currency was delivered today at doorstep by Thomas Cook employee himself. I knew how to check the authenticity by watching YT videos. Plus also asked the employee to tell me how to see. He told clearly, there was no issue. He got my signs.

If you have some trust issue or fear, then currency can be collected from Thomas cook office as well nearby.
