Was anyone able to get Magnus for burgundy with burgundy salary account but salary less than 3L

So I recently moved my salary account to axis and I got burgundy salary account automatically as my company after updating company through mobile app. Looks like my my company is eligible with 2L+ salary for burgundy salary account status.

Now I was looking to get credit card, I checked with my RM and they are saying need to have 3L+ salary for Magnus burgundy CC. Then what’s the point of burgundy status if I can’t get this CC. RM is asking me to go via FD route or 10L in account which I am not looking to do.

Not true, RM can get it sanctioned for you on behalf of your Burgundy status.

not possible I think since 3L salary is requirement for M4B card .. others can chime in ..

Tell him to close burgundy A/c . It may help you .

Didn’t get it. Rm straight away said credit card is not possible without meeting true burgundy status. I can get burgundy debit card etc., but for m4b meeting burgundy criteria is must

There are a bunch of other criteria that you can fulfill to get the 'true burgundy' status - even if the salary is less than 3L. Look it up there is pdf that I saw sometime back on axis portal.

Once you have the account you have to wait 45 days or so and then talk to RM to check eligibility. However, M4B cards issuance is not guaranteed is what I have gathered from recent threads on tf.
