I have been charged 820 rs as "finance charges debit" and gst rs 147. Total amounting to 967rs.
I have never kept any outstanding amount and paid full amount on credit statement.
When I called cc, he didn't gave me clear cut reason for charges and I requested for reversal of charges. But the request for declined... Dono what to do now. Screenshot_20230421_191354_Acrobat for Samsung.jpg

Any emi you have done via your cc?

This could possibly be the reason then. They charge 3.5% interest pm, the amount comes out roughly the same as your 19th feb transaction seems to be settled on 19th March.
I get your point, but I was given temporary extra credit till my dispute can get resolved. And after resolution from merchant, they took back temp credit. I even have email from SBI regarding same.... If it is the reason, any way to revert this. Whom should I approach? Rbi?

First go through level wise. Escalate till PNO
Then after RBI.

Look at the tnc mentioned here:
In FAQ no 5, it says finance charges will be levied. It’s bad though. 🙁
So if u dispute a transaction, then you are bound to get interest on it... What a crooked way sbi works!... Anyhow was planning to close cashback credit card after devaluation. This is just creaming on top of it.
