What are these IGST-VPS* Charges on HDFC Credit Cards?

Hi,

For some reason I am seeing these charges after the bill generation, the first card I can expect as there is one EMI running on it, but I am seeing the same on Millennia as well, not sure what that is, any ideas?

HDFC UPI Credit Card (has one EMI)



HDFC Millennia Credit Card (no EMI or anything)

That's probably the GST on Points redemption Charges. w.e.f from Sep 2024, whenever you redeem Cash Points for HDFC Millennia Credit Card, a redemption fee of Rs 50 is charged to your account along with a GST of 18%, i.e., Rs 9, hence, total Cash Points redemption charges Rs 59 for each redemption.

Makes sense, and similarly for the other card's 46.71 INR, that must be GST for interest for the EMI I think, from last statement
