What is an a good alternative to Citigold?

I am a pampered Citigold Account holder and while I never had to interact with Branch or RM, I was very happy with the account benefits especially huge cash backs on Citigold Debit Card. Now with Citi moving out, I am not keen on Axis Burgandy. I have evaluated HSBC Premier and IndusInd Pioneer but they are dud. I am now contemplating Standard Chartered Priority and HDFC Imperia. Any recommendations out there? I can always shift out from Citi Prestige Card to American Express or HDFC Diners.

HDFC Imperia gives you a Large size locker for free. That’s about 25-30k savings on annual fees every year.
But that’s all, service wise it’s not at citigold level.

Standard chartered is a more close match to citi. Their service is good and has been better than citi in the last few years.

I would choose Stan c over hdfc Imperia

Thanks. I concur your recommendation. Do you think Standard Chartered Priority with Ultima Visa card is worth it ? Because they no longer have Emirates Master Card which I thought was beneficial given my Skyward Status.

For emirates skywards, icici has a good card that gives you silver tier of skywards. Earning rate is not that good at 2.5%.

Stanchart is good for banking purpose. For cc would recommend Infinia or one of the axis trifecta.

Cheers!

For me personally, I find kotak the best.

Their RMs chase you down to introduce themselves whenever they change after a couple of years or so. There is always an RM.

With every other bank, either the RMs are not assigned, and when they are, i have to look for them when the need arises.

I wish Amex had a banking arm, their service I’ve found even better than citi, which for me didn’t even meet and surpass the experience I’ve had with kotak.

Is there a specific product proposition? I met their Private Banking team, and they wouldn't open an account until I commit investments upfront. Maybe it was that branch or RM thing, but I would certainly meet someone else.
