Hi Team,

I am planning to get tvs zest moped which cost around 95k.

I am trying to negotiate with dealers on the extra 2% charge which they usually ask when paying using credit card.

I want to know which card right now can give me the best returns, I am not aware of any spend based offers as of now on any cards i hold, if anyone knows anything do let me know.

I was wondering if i use my amazon pay icici card will i get 1% cb on it if i use that one, i have used this card for jewellery purchase in the past and have got 1% cb.

I hold the following cards

1) hsbc platinum
2) hdfc regalia
3) hdfc regalia first
4) hdfc pixel both rupay and visa
5) icici hpcl
6) icici adani one signature
7) sbi simply click
8) indus ind tiger
9) amazon pay icici
10) flipkart axis

If you guys know any running offers on these specific then please do let me know, also if there is another offer on any other card then i can try to get that card from family or friends if they have it.

this would be better,
Flipkart CC + Buy it on the Flipkart app(2.5k instand discount + 5% CB) via grab deals for that additional 1k CB.
You can pay the remaining via cash or UPI as most of your cards will not give you positive returns if they charge 2% additional.

Great,
I checked the offers
I can use fk axis card for 5% cb but no upfront discount, or i can get 3250 instant discount on hdfc, i was wondering if i can use combination of smart buy plus hdfc millenia of my friend for that upfront discount then will millenia get 5% cb apart from the upfront and the smartbuy.

Thank you to all of you for your suggestions.
By the time i used hdfc millenia cc the offer went away, so i used fk axis card to book the moped which will give me around 3.5k cashback and on top of that i used the card via grabdeals and it was running a offer of additional flat 5% cb upto 2k, so fingers crossed, if i get that extra 2k then it was a hell of a deal for me.

Booked an ICE 2W last Big Billion from Flipkart and it was a very good deal overall. Was apprehensive about the color availability part and delivery time but eventually made it out with the desired color option. As usual dealers dint budge for the 2% surcharge part and offered no other discounts so offline purchase was not an option at all. What I found it’s always better to go either with co-branded option for discount or through a strict milestone card to avoid any kind of MCC fiasco while booking.
