I have a monthly rent of ₹16k to pay and the following credit cards:

2. SBI Cashback
3. ICICI Amazon Pay

What platform will you use for rent payment?
Almost all banks now charge a 1% surcharge on rent payments and no reward points. Over and above there is Platform fee.
So the only good use case for Rent is to meet quarterly/annual milestone and I don't think any of the above card has any milestone benefit

I was thinking RedGiraffe. But if there are no rewards to get then I'll probably just stick to UPI.

I was paying rent through credit card last year. But the owner asked me to pay through bank account, as it was creating some issues for him during audit. I think the transaction narration was the issue. Any way to work around this? I want to restart using CC for rent payment. Need to reach some milestones 🙂

Yes it gives, but they are very minimal (0.7 RPs/Rs.100 spent) (01 RP = 0.35 Paisa).
