Which credit card for marriage expenses?

Crusader4Credit

Please suggest which credit cards would be best for marriage related expenses such as jewellery, venue and caterer, hotels, etc. to the tune of 10L+. Don’t mind getting cards like Reserve for this only, but are there better options (beyond Magnus milestone). How about DCB/Infinia or Plat Charge? I have DCB but acceptability may be an issue.

for amex cards plat travel, reserve or charge i dont think any of these cards dont allow points on jewellery transactions.
also try buying through tanishq- tata nue and get 10% coins upto the prescribed limit llowed by the bank

Not sure about these, but jewellery spends on MRCC does quality for 4x1.5k and 20k milestone MR, not regular MR. I had it confirmed from Amex Chat Support.
My guess is, others must also be giving milestone MR if not regular MR.

depends on number of months have, can use magnus multiple times or DCB for vouchers and online, also can use ultimate for Vistara vouchers.

Tip: You can also redirect these spends to DCB and ask for upgrade to Infinia later, if you want that card. Might loose some value but depends on redemption and final output (Infinia) will cover those points. Only after Magnus spends though.

Infinia after magnus Milestone crosses

Btw, Marriage will automatically increases your expenses.😂

Yeah thinking about using DCB
Another thought is about getting a Reserve..

Hi bro,

Which card did you get??
My dad's having Regalia and IDFC Wealth. Our expenses would be same as the one stated by you.

I am thinking of getting HSBC Liv+ for him as it will not only help with their 1.5% cashback on all spends but in long term as well like grocery shopping 10% cb which will easily cover the annual fee every year. Please help me with your inputs.

We are not in a position to apply for high end cards like Magnus Burgundy or Amex.

Thanks,
Rohan
