Which ICICI card to apply

Hi I have a credit score of 812 and a salary of 70k. No credit cards and no account with ICICI. I want a card to avail ICICI offers . Should I go for platinum card or coral card? Which card has a higher chance of approval ? Also can I downgrade the card later?

Get coral only if you are getting Ltf. Otherwise no such benifit over platinum. For occasional icici offers platinum will be enough.

All the ICICI paid cards are useless except Emerald. If you just want to get the ICICI offers Platinum is best for you as its LTF and there wont be any difference in offers that you get on Flipkart, Amazon, etc. You can also look for Amazon ICICI card but the ICICI offers are generally not given on this card.

Go for platinum for now, eventually you will get higher variants cards as LTF in future.

Is emerald worth it? The bank manager offered me emerald today and I didn't think much about it. Mainly using infinia. Also have amazon and flipkart cards.

If you have LTF or even paid Infinia, then doesn't make sense to take paid Emerald.

If LTF then Coral else take Platinum which is by default LTF and you will get all ICICI instant discount offers.

also, on which bank do you have salary account. Ask that bank to give you their card LTF.
