Why do Indians get jingoistic about Tata and its product/offerings?

In my years of existence I've only encountered terrible quality from this brand.
From cars, to airlines to big basket after it got took over. TCS is a terrible company making sewer level software. What is this company actually good for? Why do Indians love it? Because its sligtly better than Reliance? I don't get it

By Seeing the Face of Ratan Tata, people always admire by quoting his “DONATIONS”. nothing else. So many social media influencers especially twitter people, always Shows Ambani Adani as corporate villains & ask them to be more like Ratan Tata. So over the time more assumptions were born on how good was Tata Company etc etc. But reality is far away from it, but no one wants the truth. “Ratan Tata will remain good as long as these people want to show Ambani Adani as Villains”. So with Good Tata’s PR as shield. Tata groups will keep on milking this good will without any ounce of remorse
