Window period for New Axis Card after conversion of existing card?

I have Axis Neo, Ace and Rewards (from citi). I wanted to get Airtel card for airtel bills but they follow a limit of 3 cards.

Last week I raised a request for closure of Ace and they offered conversion to LTF MyZone. I accepted it and completed the online process. I expect the new card to be delivered in next 15-days.

Will there be a cool-off period restriction if I close Rewards card and apply for Airtel card now?

Its purely on credit profile basis. I experienced both scenarios. Few of my application were rejected for the reason of cool off period
While few got approved within days though old application were 8-10 days old.


If you are getting option through Axis app then go for it. It will be issued for sure.
If trying to apply through new card application journey/ Airtel app then its on your credit profile

Yes, the Airtel app is giving me option to "apply with PAN card only".
I am apprehensive if they would consider converted card like a new card and may reject the airtel card application for cool-off period.

My question is about applying through Airtel App right after closing the third Card.

I've a question for you.
I read somewhere that the axis convert paid cards into ltf only when they are offering that same card to new customers as ltf.

I've been waiting for that day when axis will roll out indian oil as ltf and i would ask them to convert my card into ltf, too.
But it seems like they changed their mind and so focused on ltf neo card only.

Is there any chance that i could make my paid axis indian oil into ltf?

As holding it (as a paid) after devaluation and 350k for fees reversal, doesn't make sense.

I have it too
As it's my oldest active cc .I m continuing this year as I already breached fees reversal milestone
