Wrong Reporting to CIBIL Credit Bureau by SBI

TF Buzz
My sister has an active car loan but usually doesn’t check her CIBIL score. Recently, she checked it for a specific need and discovered that SBI had incorrectly reported nine late payments from 2021 to 2022. This discrepancy appears in both her Experian and CIBIL reports. Should she request a correction, or is it too late to do so?

1. SBI never do wrong reporting in most of the cases. If they did , you can question them and raise wid their support team.
2. It will be hard to get things done from sbi especially if mistake is done from our end.
3. I would suggest, accumulate payment screenshots done from the account. Then approach them, raise cibil/experian dispute. If not approach higher desk of sbi.
4. If nothing works, and mistake on their end then proceed to RBI. Most likely things will get sorted in previous levels.

Nothing is late, question them first! Good luck. Keep us posted.

I am certain that it's been a mistake from SBI side. I have checked all transactions and the EMIs has been auto debited before due date every month.

Then accumulate all the screenshots, merge them in a single pdf. Reach-out to their support first, ask them to rectify the report. If they decline, then you can file a case on ombudsman.
