Yes Bank Credit Card Finbooster to Elite+

I have been using the YES Bank Finbooster card for over 2 years. Recently, I sent an email requesting an upgrade to the Elite card, and it took them 2-3 weeks to respond with the following reply:

Greetings from YES BANK.

This is in reference to your email regarding your YES BANK Credit Card upgrade.

We would like to inform you that your card upgrade request has been processed.

The upgraded YES BANK Credit Card will be delivered to your registered mailing address in 9 working days.

Please note that any future upgrades will be subject to evaluation and approval as per the credit policy parameters of YES Bank Ltd.

What does this mean? I’m confused because they provided a link to apply, then said the upgrade was processed, and then mentioned that any future upgrades will depend on evaluation and approval based on their credit policy.

Since they provide link, I even click and tried to apply but it's just says "I already hold yes bank card.

Sorry if I’m asking something unclear – my understanding of English is not very strong.

The message is confusing, as if they typed the message on gunpoint. I think you should reply back to the team and ask whether this means the card has been issued. Also if the card has been automatically approved they'll dispatch in 4 days and you will be getting a message from any courier partner in few days.

Yea, I replied them to confirm. I tried calling customer care but they are clueless. Will see what they replies now.

It's clear, They processed ur upgrade request for now and they will dispatch ur new card
But link ?? Don't know why they attached it.
Anyways, ur card will reach u shortly

Strange but customer care is like "what whoo when how", they have no idea on this email.

Wait for few days if the card appears in app then it's fine otherwise write an email again after 7 working days

I am also using Finbooster from last 1 year, it's of no use , now I want either elite+, reserve or marquee .
The main question is, will they upgrade my existing card or I have to close this one and apply again for core card?
Has anyone upgraded their finbooster to core card recently?

You have to close Finbooster first.

I am attaching an email from Yes Bank after I asked them to upgrade my finbooster card.

Elite + isn't such a great card. But if You want you can escalate 1st to pno, if they don't budge, then to RBI bo. They clearly wrote it has been upgraded and will reach in 9 days.

I just called their customer service 3rd time. The lady said the upgrade is only possible if there is an offer generated on your card. So it looks like we are getting 3 different answers 🤣

Yea true. But I know it wasn't possible to upgrade from co-branded finbooster card to any core yes bank card, I've been using it for like 2 years no use for me :/
I'll close it and re-apply at some point
