Yes bank credit card reissue charges

Recently my yes bank credit card expired, and I requested for new card. With new card they applied charges of 100+ gst on my card as reissue charges.
I was surprised to see this.
Although after calling to customer care, they did remove the charges, but it seems really odd way to apply charges on someone's card.
If I would not have complaint, this wound not have been removed

Yes Bank have mentioned in their MITC that there's a 100 rupee re-issuance fee on all of their credit cards, and it's the same for most banks like HDFC, ICICI, SBI, etc.

I mean that we don't pay it, if re issue is due to card expiry.
If it is due to card lost, yes we need to pay

It was probably a mistake by Yes Bank. It's great to know that they refunded the fees.
