I have given consent to convert my Tata infinity card to millinnea so it will be blocked /replaced, however I have 2 lounges this quarter. So if I generate QR code will I be able to use it?
Flight is next week.

I do have 2 other cards for lounge access though.

No risk QR details in only visible in the Lounge System under your name nothing more, AFAIK.

QR code validity is 24-48 hours as i remember

Adani Lounge on Mumbai Airport started denying lounge access on shared QR. Twice happened in last 2 weeks where they matched the name on Boarding Pass & name of person for which QR code belongs in their system & denied the entry on mismatch.

The screenshot for QR code was not having cardholder's name mentioned (purposely trimmed out) but still they found the details of QR owner post scanning it & denied access to lounge to third person !!

This post is good initiative but I am worried the over usage of free lounges can lead to further devaluation by the banks or increase in spend criteria for lounge access. It can definitely impact the card owner self if any devaluation happens 😛

I am not against this initiative, but will suggest not to have this kind of forum with open access to public, may be a secret group on TF here or Telegram shall be good enough to avoid banks noticing this giveaway trend 🙂

Personally I feel it is good initiative, will help in reducing lounge overcrowding and premium card holders can actually enjoy the benefits with no strict T&Cs getting introduced further by the banks due to over-usage of complimentary access.

Yeah but I also saw as my flight was delayed by 3 hours, they even didn't asked me to re-swipe my card for another 2 hours.

Lounges are generally not very strict on usage hours until if demand is not very high. If there is overcrowding then the 3 hours time limit they apply.
