Is it really worth getting EPM paid or is it just the hype?
It is infinias brother so its an either infinia or epm, unless you get both or none at all.
Either of one is always better. If are hitting capping spends on either getting both is better.
Getting none would give you peace of mind of course. 😂
To be honest, I am not that much interested in this EPM..
Mainly because, I believe ICICI is never serious in their credit card portfolio with regard to their rewards program..
When I started my credit card journey in India about 7 years ago, they used to have something called payback points or something like that.. one fine day this payback thing suddenly disappeared..
I am of the opinion that history will repeat and this iShop thing might also get disappeared on one fine day ...or their reward structure might become obsolete...
I don't trust ICICI in this aspect and hence not much into high end icici cards
It is just that my contact wanted to have a go at it that's why I gave him my consent. I won't be disappointed if he can't get all the required approvals..

On another note,
Anyone who has experience with payback points reward program can share their views..
I was not in India during the majority life of that rewards program…
I remember Payback points was not just with ICICI, many companies had tie up with Payback points.
We used to add in BigBazaar and all.
It is still seen in BookMyShow website: https://in.bookmyshow.com/offers/payback-points/PAYBACK
I also think that is what got converted to Zillion Rewards or something now.
Okay understood..lets focus from ICICI point of view and their reward program structure..because I am not quite confident of their commitment towards CC rewards program and I strongly believe they will do " middle drop" with regard to this iShop..

friend applied for saving account for EPM only, his request for rejected saying saving account need to be 1 yr old. he had to open demat account too..
Requested corporate RM for EPM on the basis of >6L inhand salary credit for the last 3 months but she denied citing bonus will not be considered.
