Infinia 1 Cr FD for Infinia — Now they want me to wait for 3 months?

Hackmebro

TF Buzz
I recently created a normal (non-lien) FD of ₹1 crore for the Infinia Metal card. However, after booking the FD, the card sales manager informed me that I need to wait for 3 months because, according to them, the "account program vintage should be more than 3 months."

My understanding is that this rule applies to the customer’s relationship vintage—meaning I should have been an Imperia customer for more than 3 months. I've already been an Imperia customer for over a year, so I believe I meet this criterion.

Now, they're telling me that the FD itself needs to be 3 months old before they can apply for the card. After that, once the card is issued, I can close the FD.

Could someone please check point number 6 in the FAQ and confirm—does it actually mean that the FD has to be 3 months old, or does it refer to the customer program vintage (e.g., Imperia tenure)?

If there is no penalty applicable, then tell the Branch Manager that if you don't get Infinia in a month, then you will move your FD to another bank. Have everything written in an official email.
With an FD of 1CR, you hold the cards.

While you are in branch manager's office, ask him to bring coke & biscuits for you 😜 😜.

1 CR - Coke Biscuit - TOO MUCH🤭

He is right, the relationship value should be maintained for last 3 months #6.

But if you give some bamboo he can take a deviation on basis of the FD you have done to get the card in a week.

Why do you even need the Infinia card..? 😅 You’ve already achieved everything! A person who can make a fixed deposit of ₹1 crore doesn't need to worry about a credit card — that’s a small thing for you, bro. By the way, if you just park that kind of amount in ICICI Bank for a few months, the bank executives themselves will come to your house to offer you the Emeralde Metal Card. Infinia is nothing in comparison 😅 Hats off, bro — full salute to you!
