I am Once again looking for a Perfect UPI App - Query & Discussion

TF Premier
These are my priorities in the same order
1. Fast payments and reliability
2. Option to turn off screen lock
3. Customisable upi id, and single upi id for all accounts
4. Default payment methods according to amount entered, I would want upi lite to be the default if amount is less than 100, if it's a merchant account and if rupay cc is accepted then rupay cc else my primary bank account

i tried multiple apps with multiple merchants and observed that yes pay next is most accurate for merchant identification for rupay CC payment..may be reason is that all paytm merchant accounts are shifted to yes bank so yes bank accurately knows which merchant accept rupay CC payment.

2nd most accurate is freecharge..It was 80% accurate compared to yes pay next and rest all apps were crap
i too shifted from gpay to yes pay. looks super clean and one more benefits especially to me is you can "pay again" to the same recipient via going to transaction history. it was missing from many other upi apps when I checked.
I'd try to pay thru tataneu first, ofcourse becoz of the TNI card (for the coins). if that doesnt workm then it's yes pay.

Thanks for sharing, since BHIM launch, most of the time, it won't disappointed me. Especially the nature of my payment, it's more aligned to me.
Launch time Vanila flavour of BHIM was as good as it is today.

From the start of the launch date, I use the BHIM app; it’s one of the crown jewels of all UPI apps. After the recent new version (4.0), it is, no doubt in my opinion, one of the most beautiful UI of UPI apps.
Default option -- for payments — is available; you can choose between a bank account and a Rupay card
screen lock is available - biometric or PIN.
UPI Lite is available.
NOTE - I use iOS, but I am sure the Android features would be the same.
GIVE IT A TRY.

I don't need a screen lock

I mean don't want the name to be revealed to recipient
Freecharge has 2 post transaction detail pages. One with summary which displays your name and another detailed page where it doesn't display your name.

I remember YES Pay Next hiding the bank name as well but they have stopped allowing edited VPAs. You can only choose from the suggested IDs.

so seems nothing is present at this moment where the recipient cant see your banking name(even for freecharge case 🙂 )
