Bank of Maharashtra || Rupay select debit card || REVIEW

This is just for information for people who hold Rupay Select Debit card (i am holding Bank Of Mahashtra- RSDC). When i sent a query to Rupay team regarding the benefits update frequency / renewal of benefits -every year or quaterly, i received following response.

"Please note for the Bank of Maharashtra Rupay Select Card starting with first 6 digits as 6524** the benefit frequency details are based on calendar year and can be redeemed once service out of each category and the details are as follows:

OTT ( Amazon Prime/ Zee5/ Sonyliv): Yearly once
Cab (Ola/ Uber): Quarterly
Healthcare (SRL/Thyrocare): Quarterly
Spa (For Fountains/ HR Wellness/ Kairali/ Aromathai/ O2 Spa/ Lakme): Quarterly
Fitness ( Cult.fit 1 Month/ Cult.fit 3 Months): Quarterly
Golf Round: Quarterly
Golf Lesson: Quarterly "


Previously i thought all benefits were updated yearly only, but now i can use the coupons extensively.
Bank of Maharashtra offered RSDC for free by opening a min bal 25k account.
i hope its useful for all members.
 
Called BM.. not taking calls.

Called CC - told annual fee is normal. I had to teach him all the befits of BSS 25. My precious 10 f***ing mins lost. Hello told he would arrange for a call back from senior team. He told he cannot lodge complaint, and I need to go to my branch to complaint.

So I need to travel 20 km oneway under 47 degree of scorching baking sun to get my 708 rupees reversed.

No need. Now that I have got the fee charged, should I keep 25k in account or transfer that to my Utkarsh account for 5% extra interest to earn 1250 rupees profit?

Well bank wala had no idea on that too.

Why will you visit branch. Just raise a grievance on their portal.
 
Mailed to customer care... Let's see how it goes. I am waiting for my next complaint to RBIO 😅🤣
CC is of no use. Infact writing emails to higher managament folks are purely a waste of time & energy, don't expect reply. On the other hand, if you raise grievance via their portal, you will definitely get auto response ticket id and mails from grievance team.

Bhai why are you wasting time with customer care. File a complaint on their complaint portal with highlighting the portion from their product page where it mentioned the card is LTF and wait for redressal.
