For 6 years, I’ve responsibly used basic credit cards (SBI, IDFC, HDFC, BOB, YES, etc.), maintaining a 770+ credit score, 100% on-time payments, and limits up to ₹1.1L. Yet today, despite my spotless record, but at this time my every new application—basic or premium—is rejected without explanation.
Is there something I’m missing? If anyone can guide me or help secure my desired card, I’d be deeply grateful.

It would have been better if you have shared whats mid-range for you?

For example if you consider Axis Atlas as mid range, you can get it pre-approved if you have an existing Axis card.

But it depends on what is your list of mid-range cards and what is your income, how you have tried getting them earlier and how many active accounts you already have.
Also your highest limit of 1.1L is low for getting higher end cards so maybe start with increasing it.
And 770 for 6 years seems low to me, what is your total limit and its utilisation.
A lot of information is not there to help you better.
