Should I upgrade my card to Easy shop Platinum Visa or not?

I am having hdfc rupay platinum debit card which is used in Amazon on to avail Friday offer 100rs only i do payments of nearly 200k to cc almost every month should I upgrade to easyshop platinum card or not ?

Yes you should get Platinum Visa debit card. If you have normal savings account it will charge 750+GST annually. If you got SavingsMax account Platinum card fee will be free.

if 200k payments is being done for HDFC CC, then it wont make sense as you cant pay HDFC CC bill via HDFC Billpay to get 1% CB from debit card

if your spend inclused bill payments like gas/electricity etc and you pay bill of some other bank's CC, then it would make sense to get Platinum CC for those CB

Goto to your netbanking->billpay and see if you can spend around 75k every month to fully utilise the DC or not... if you can't, then go for Millennia DC as that would give you Rs.400 CB every month by loading 40k into any wallet and then transferring it back to account

This card is good for that people who pay utility bills more than 50k per month. Others can try millennia as they can get easily Rs 400 by loading money to Amazon wallet

@isrihyd this Rs.750 cashback PM on paying CC payment upto Rs.75K is only on HDFC CC or any credit card payments done from Easy shop Platinum Visa?? Also which payment app/gateway to use to earn this cashback??

Don't upgrade to platinum card as you won't get any cashback for credit card payments. It is clearly mentioned in hdfc platinum debit card tnc's. Also you will not be able to do other bank cc payment using hdfc billpay via debit card. Most probably it gets failed.

Are you sure? We are getting cashback every month, can you share any link and screenshot regarding same?

You're giving completely wrong info. With HDFC Billpay, we'll get 750pm cashback. It comes under utility bills. So it'll attract 1% Cashback. Only case is you won't be able to pay HDFC Bank CC dues with this method.

All of my payments were successful done via HDFC Platinum DC for credit card payments.

I recently upgraded my account to SavingsMax just to get free Platinum debit card and now paying non-hdfc credit card bills and also getting 1% cashback just by paying only credit card bills.

Well, I agree if one is having bill payments upto 50k they can get Millennia debit card. OP clearly said he has 200k credit card bills to pay. He will get 750 cashback on pyments of 75k using Platinum debit card.

Technofino also mention no casback on credit card payments. I also not getting any cashback for cc payment through hdfcbillpay. If you getting cashback points then enjoy..

Well, lets remember this now. Whenever you see number 400 and hdfc you can easily think about Millennia debit card only. Similarly whenever someone talks about 75k payments or 750 cashback, you think about HDFC Platinum debit card only.

In some other discussion, I know that information about Millennia DC and shared also HDFC website link that said no cashback on Millennia DC for credit card payment but someone came to that discussion and confirmed me that he is getting cashback using HDFC billpay. That was news to me that Millennia DC giving cashback on HDFC billpay.
