We (My Wife and I) are travelling to US on June 25th, on July 26th we return back to India and have a stop over of 3 days in Singapore. 28th July to 31st July.

Because we both have B1/B2 Visas, will we be able to use VFTF without any issues?

e-Visa seems difficult because apparently you can't apply till 29 days before your arrival in Singapore and we will be in US at that time.

Yes, you can avail of the VFTF since your stay(transit) is less than 96 hours. An e-visa would be unnecessary in your case.

That’s right. You need to fill an arrival card online at least 3 days prior to the arrival date and you should be good to go 👍
Just to clarify... You can fill it starting from 3 days in adv... Latest I have filled it on the spot after landing at SIN... Took 15 mins to process.
Opens 73 hours before flight, can fill upto post landing... Ideally recommended, fill it before checking in for the flight.

Last trip even I was thinking to fill it before and completely forgot to. Then just as I was about to board the flight I remembered and filled it sitting inside the flight before take off.
