DCB HDFC add on credit card with same card number and phone number

I recently ordered an HDFC DCB add on credit card for my parents and the card I received has the same phone number as the primary card holder as well as the same card number as well.

As per recent forums and updates I understand that the HDFC add on credit card would have different card numbers.

How do I rectify the same?
Also in this case how would international lounge access work?

No rectification, they have there names on card, so they can access.

I hope it won't be chargeable as guest access.

Also why did I get the same card number for add on card when the policy has changed? Managing otp will be challenging in this case.

They changed the policy but not the system, there system & codes are still the same, so generating the same card numbers for add-on

That's the reason I closed my tata neu infinity add-ons

1. Instantly. Within 5 mins max.
2. In the net banking of primary card holder, he can just see add on cards issued, but card details will come in the mycards of addon cardholder.

1. Names are visible in the app for the Add-On card holders in primary Ac
2. Card details are not visible in HDFC mobile banking app !

Edit: can we see the full card details including cvv anywhere before physically receiving the card ?

Yes all my infina has same number and we have used all 4 cards in one go , no problem
