I think someone already told not eligible on rhodium account but eligible on Diamond and Platinum account (Wealth RuPay).

Not eligible on CSP Diamond also. Just yesterday confirmed. System throwing error.

Yes, you can swipe any POS machine that accepts the network printed on the back of your card

@Abhishek012 I already had Rupay select Rhodium debit card as part of salary package. However, they refused wealth debit card as I already have select card. Is it true. We can have 2 debit cards for one account in SBI. Any idea why it was denied. They are saying SRW is not showing in list for me.

I got Platinum rupay select DC for salary a/c and later changed into Wealth a/c. After getting visa signature DC, I successfully replaced it with Wealth RSDC...now both RSDCs are in use....

You need to convert account variant to wealth by either salary or TRV criteria, for conversion its better to approach a wealth designated branch. During filling up the form you can directly opt for rupay card, or later approach any branch for changing visa signature to rupay select. While upgradation to wealth, existing salary RSDC will remain valid. Like in my case, I have 2 RSDC and 1 virtual DC at present.
BTW, Rupay Platinum/Rhodium DC is much rewarding than wealth DC with additional benefits.

You need to convert account variant to wealth by either salary or TRV criteria, for conversion its better to approach a wealth designated branch. During filling up the form you can directly opt for rupay card, or later approach any branch for changing visa signature to rupay select. While upgradation to wealth, existing salary RSDC will remain valid. Like in my case, I have 2 RSDC and 1 virtual DC at present.

I am already wealth customer by salary and that is the reason I am applying for wealth debit card. They are denying probably because I already have Rupay select card as part of rhodium salary account.

On upgrading to wealth via salary criteria, the savings account is upgraded to Rhodium. They then issue the Rhodium debit card. Maybe this new Rhodium rupay select card needs to be closed and then apply for SRW from branch.

Only 2 DC per account in SBI. Both of them can be Rupay Select

So you have only one DC ie Rupay Select Rhodium. If SRW is not showing for you, dont close the present card. Maybe a glitch. Maybe you can try after sometime

The only benefit of SRW compared to the Rupay select platinum/rhodium is the 50% off for one ticket in BMS. Most offers via all other cards are BOGO
