There's no welcome letter thing, unless ur communication address is different from aadhar.
Nobody received such letter.
Just chequebook and dc thats it

A welcome letter is sent by branch through speed post . Just welcoming for opening account. Nothing else. I wasn't asked to submit it to branch. But yes letter come in my case.

CBoI se toh aaya tha, but Union se kuch nhi aaya, Indian Bank is little far away, So still thinking to visit or not

Happens their backend end is like that only.
Happened with me too.
Call or visit branch on Monday and ask if any remarks made by backend on ur application.
For me, they told one signature missing, i went again and signed
Mine was activated within 10 days, took this much time as I had previous CIF from 7 years old closed Account, they had to unlink some data and relink to the new one..
May be ur branch guys are quick to respond
Yeah, few of them from rest of the staff, luckily connected to the good ones
