HSBC visa platinum card has been revalued, other than Times Prime I don’t see any benefits.

As far as i understand 4L spend requirement is for 5X rewards for existing customers

I think they should for existing customers if not they will do it next year in august

Just received an exciting email from HSBC 📨 — the HSBC Visa Platinum Credit Card is being upgraded to Visa Signature platform effective 1st September 2025, and it brings a bunch of lifestyle and travel perks along with it! 🎉
Here’s what’s changing:
✅ Upgrade to Visa Signature from visa platinum
✅ Free 1-year Times Prime Membership (20+ OTTs, 40+ lifestyle offers)
✅ 2 complimentary flight seat selections on MakeMyTrip (₹350 off per booking, domestic)
✅ 15% cashback on select domestic hotels via MMT (credited as MyCash)
✅ ₹250 fuel benefit every quarter on contactless spends >₹10K
And yes, still no joining or annual fee – which makes this a pretty sweet value upgrade for a lifetime-free card!
What’s going away?
⚠️ The existing 5X accelerated rewards on ₹4L+ annual spend is being discontinued from 31 Aug 2025.
However, if your card was issued before that and you cross ₹4L spend, you can still enjoy this benefit till your next card anniversary or 31 Aug 2026, whichever is earlier.
Other existing benefits continue: 🔸 2 RP per ₹150 spent
🔸 Annual savings up to ₹3,000 on fuel surcharge waiver
Overall, a solid lifestyle and travel refresh to the HSBC Platinum card, especially for a zero-fee cardholder! 🙌
