Statement DB – RP Forefeit For CBK Offer, SBI card reward debited, Why?

in my simply click cc amount debited ₹183.75 & 3000+ RP. now my RP is 0
any one know the reason

I have total 3 SBI credit cards, one is Prime and second is BPCL, both have reward points associated and reward points have been deducted from both. And third card is not a rewards card (IRCTC) and so I have been charged instead. Seriously?

What's wrong with SBI cards?

What you guys are doing about it and what's the resolution for this?

This mentions reward points & I think it was for the cards with reward structure not for Cashback Credit Card.

Cashback credit card was not eligible for 10% instant discount but it worked due to faulty SBI systems, now they are reverting cashbacks which does not seem as per the T&C.

If I am missing any other T&C which mentions Cashback Credit card please share that.

Yes i have never seen any bank do like this.

If we are not eligible for Cashback or Reward Points , it shouldn't have been credited in 1st place.

What is this policy , giving and taking back at end of year ?

I have cashback credit card. And I had purcahed around 1 lakh during GIF on Amazon. 5k was credited to my cashback card.
Now it has been taken back in December 🙁

Yes, same thing with me. I've filed complaint with their nodal officer but I don't think they can resolve. Will soon file complaint with RBI. In Sept 2022 they mentioned this change will be effective from Oct. 7th 2022 but very cleverly they have changed their terms again in Dec. 2022 and removed this date from their terms and making it effective from Sept. 14th 2022 which is voilation of rules. Check this attached file.

I got one such debit on my card today. Can you let me know if my assumption is correct?

Let's assume I made a transaction of Rs 10,000 in an ongoing republic day sale. On which out of 10,000 I got an instant discount of 3,000.
Now, is that the reward points for that spent 7,000 rs are collected back ?

As per their new terms you will not earn any reward points on this 7k spend and if you have earned any rewards in error they will be taken back.

actual value of CV is not 1 Rs, so they may be overcharging us. I am not sure how much points I got for sale transaction, need to confirm with customer care.

But doing it first time was their mistake and doing it every time is their problem. Why are they allowing it again?
My account debited 590 again. Was debited similarly last year too I guess.
Would fight them this time. Why should I pay for their system errors.
Dodgy bank.
