Update : So my friend who opened the acc with 84k funding, he received 250 gc (brand can be selected as per your will, i selected apay ofc), and then 1000 gc again. Fee deducted 399 for acc opening/super.

So 250+1000-399 = 851 profit already for free.

I love it already but they haven't generated metal dc yet. Acc was opened/funded on friday and today's monday. Virtual card shows since friday but afaik that is default platinum card not metal dc, so haven't did any trxn fearing the virtual dc might not be super 811 dc or metal card. How long will it take for them to show the metal dc on app? I don't care for delivery, it can take 7 or 10 days, it doesn't matter but need metal dc atleast to show up on the app.

There's a difference between credit and maintain.
U must only credit for time being

Has anyone found a way to upgrade the 811 account to 811 super? They are still not upgrading even after asking 3-4 times in past 1 year...such a stupid & shitty bank probably the only bank which doesn't provide new features to old customers 🤷🤦🤦

I recently closed my Kotak 811 account and even got confirmation of closure.
But strangely, I’m still able to log in to both the new and old Kotak mobile banking apps with the same CRN.
I contacted customer care, and they told me that CRNs are never deleted — the bank only closes the account, but the CRN always remains in their system.

Is this true? Has anyone else faced the same situation?

Any guidance or similar experiences would be helpful.

Generally take 2-4 working days, can take a week maximum then for delivery it's fairly quick.

That said, it doesn't matter which DC you use, virtual one will also count toward the monthly 5% quota. Since it's still early september, you can skip transactions for now unless there is something urgent.

But, if you wish, you can do transactions using the virtual DC as well.

Btw, what's the BIN of the DC that's currently being shown? Is it 459453, or 428091, or something else?
