Offer Fulfilled! Kotak Myntra (Paid) To Zen (LTF) Conversion

The offer has been fulfilled by the bank/company.
Hi Guys / Gals,

As Myntra card is getting closed from next month , I converted my Myntra paid card to Zen LTF.

The Steps involved:

1) Call CC ( 1860 266 2666 )and Convert Myntra card to Zen Paid card - you can do this manually
2) Once you receive the Zen card, Dont activate the card.
3) Call CC and ask if there is any LTF offer is available.. The offer should be available if you have a higher CL ... ( I have 2.8L CL, I guess it should work if it is more than 1L CL)..
3) They will raise a cancellation request first.
4) Retention team will call you after 30 mins or so and verify your identity and then convert your Zen card to LTF and you will get Email as well..

All the best,...

Something doesn't seem right. Even if they would have charged the fee it should be same as Myntra fees.
Did you manually give upgrade request for Zen Card from Myntra. Also did you get any confirmation email for LTF Zen?
YES I DID IT MANNUALLY. YES I GOT CONFIRMATION MAIL TOO. I CALLED CC FOR WAIVE OFF FEE BUT HE DENIED TO WAIVE OFF FEE AND REGISTER COMPLAINT AGAINST EXECUTIVE WHO HELP ME TO GET THIS CARD LTF AND TOLD ME WAIT FOR 7 WORKING DAYS FOR NEXT UPDATE

Hello Everyone

I received my Kotak Zen Signature credit card as a replacement for Myntra on July 31, 2025. Despite contacting customer care and emailing the Principal Nodal Officer to request conversion to a lifetime free card, all requests have been denied. The card has a credit limit of ₹7,50,000, but I have not activated it due to the annual fee concerns. The card remains visible in my app, and I continue receiving daily SMS notifications requesting activation. I have the following queries:
1) Does non-activation within 30 days of card issuance result in automatic deactivation?
2) What is the bank's policy regarding compensation (specifically ₹500) when card closure/cancellation is not processed after the stipulated 30-day timeframe?

It's generally 37 days. 30 + 7 days grace period.

37 days also over so can I eligible for compensation.
There will be no compensation in this case. Compensation is possible only if you had requested cancellation of the card and the bank failed to cancel it. Since you chose not to activate the card and were waiting for automatic cancellation, you can now raise the issue with customer care and ask why it wasn’t cancelled as per RBI guidelines. They may process the cancellation after your complaint.

If the card still appears in your CIBIL report, you can escalate the matter to the Banking Ombudsman, where you may also be eligible for compensation.
