Offer Fulfilled! Rupay Select Debit Card Alternative

I was looking for an alternate of Rupay Select Debit / Credit Card , A card which is beneficial for small cities / villages yet provides maximum benefits when compared to a Rupay Select Card. , Also having a Rupay Select Card is a costly affair due to Joining / AMC / AMB / AQB of Card and Accounts.

So after a lot of comparisons finalized Bank Of Baroda EaseMyTrip Debit Card (Rupay Platinum)


To get this card , opened a Bank of Baroda Advantage Savings Account online , within 1 hour VKYC done , and get welcome kit in email , then got internet banking kit also in 2 hrs. Installed BOB World app and applied for this debit card.


Advantage Savings Account has MAB of Rs.2000 , but BOB has removed charges so its practically 0 balance account.

Now comes why I choose this card and not Rupay Select , here comes the benefits , financial implications and comparisons.

so for a 5 year period if just calculating the redeemable coupon's is := 23088
total of the Joining & AMC Paid := 4242
Total Saving := 18846

this is minimum savings for 5 year , have not included the lounge access domestic / international , hotel bookings & insurance as in non metro & villages may be its not that beneficial and will be occasionally redeemed by card holder.

Charges Payment :- (In case don't want to pay AMC out of pocket)

A idea came that even if i am earning benefit of 18k in 5 years , still feel heavy while paying AMC charges
Opened BOB World app and created a online FD of Rs.11000 this will keep paying the yearly AMCs and now feel relaxed.

i don't know about blinkit, but both bigbasket and flipkart are added to the gift card wallet.

Its gift card of flipkart , blinkit or bigbasket any one gift card all can be added to the wallet and do shopping for the amount

What makes you think that the benefits will last for 5 years?

I followed the steps and got the card! But i'm facing tx failure when trying to redeem the vouchers. Once I enter card no and details for debiting 2 Rs. tx its not going through and failing. Any ideas? I checked debit card online tx, atm and swipe for domestic are turned on.

Yes , I also faced the same issue , so just added Rs.1 to my amazon pay balance using this card , after this transaction tried the Rupay coupons the transaction succeeded.

Something weird is happening..I also trying to add to amazon wallet but transaction is failing.

"Payment failed
Your transaction failed as the bank was unable to validate your card. Please try with another payment method or contact your bank."

What could be the issue? Also tried in Payzapp it's failing there also.

in bob world app go to cards , your active channels , check set online transaction ECOM should be on and green and its limit , if still not working , use it once in BOB atm to withdraw cash , then check

The Amc of any Rsdc however high it is, can easily be earned back in just a quarter if you know how to 🤣

There is problem and many users are facing the same problem
OTP page doesn't appear while txn.

So have a patience 😌
Its wide problem on BOB debit-cards called synchronization.

Just turn on all domestic channels and take a chill
After some days your card will be synced in BOB systems after than you will be able to do online transactions.
