Hi,
We want to make a booking for 8 people in any good Buffet restaurant like Barbeque Nation or any good Brewery like The Bier Library, in Bangalore through Eazydiner app. There r two category offer options showing in the app:
  1. For walk-in: Direct 10% off+ card offers
  2. Pre booking: 15% Off + card offers
We r expecting a bill of around Rs10,000. I have multiple cards where offer is visible but as there is a limitation on the max discount cap on these credit cards so its not possible to swipe just 1 card and get the full discount of either 10% or 15% bcz of capping.
I'm planning to pay divide the bill into 2 parts and then first utilise the pre booking offer of 15%+card offer and for the remaining amount walk in offer of 10% off+card offer.
I want to ask is it even allowed to divide the bills and pay one by one or is there any restriction from app side? I know I cant use the pre-booking offer twice conseutively as there is some wait period of 30 mins- 1 hr I guess. Can anyone please share your practical experience , have u ever tried to do this.

I book from 2 accounts and divide bill into 2 and pay

wasn't there any issue in getting seated together, I mean there r chances u might not get seats in the same table, they might reserve 2 small tables instead of 1 big table
And were you able to use the same card to pay the bill on both the accounts? Or different cards for each account?

No issues . Have used many times. If we r 4 persons , i book 4 from each account and only 1 booking will be there to dine. They dont bother.

No there won't be any issue. If you have a big group that won't fit in their regular 6-8 pax table setup then you may call the resturant and ask them to reserve a group sitting and mention your group booking to them.
But when you visit for the meal you may tell them beforehand to segregate the bill into 2 or 3 parts as per your booking and pay separately.

Update : We simply told the restaurant we'll be paying through Eazydiner, didn't inform them how we r planning to pay by spilling the bill or at one shot. When bill came, I used the best possible way I cud get discount by paying half through Eazydiner and half through Dineout using card offers thus they took 2 payment screenshots and didn't seem to have any issue and I got the best discount, truly felt it's worth. I tried to use the walk-in offer with Eazydiner for the 2nd half payment and surprisingly even that was allowed, no restriction from app side.

Original bill came of Rs 10544, inclusive of Rs945 service charge, we requested for its waiver and the final bill came off was Rs 9599. Paid it in 2 parts:
1. Paid Rs5000 with Dineout using Infinia. Dineout 15% discount + 10% Infinia off . Net pay Rs 3930
2. Paid Rs4599 with Eazydiner using IndusInd Eazydiner Platinum card. Eazydiner 15% off + 20% Indusind off.
Net Pay Rs 3484

So, Bill was of Rs9599 and we had to pay Rs7414. Total Discount: Rs2185.

Thanks.. good utilization of both cards and offers..

I sincerely hope that the restaurants put a constraint on paying from a single app ASAP.
There's is no practical way they can limit that, 1 app is more than sufficient to cater 2-4 people discount, if group is big different people can make bookings from different apps to get max discounts. How does it matter to them if 8 people r coming together or coming in 4-4 groups, more the number of people more the order value, in any case its the restros making profits, y u r having issues with that?

y u r having issues with that?
A BIG YES!
in any case its the restros making profits
And you are churning for good; others can't enjoy as folks like you reap benefits to the core by saying statements like this. If you are splitting, kindly sit elsewhere in a big group with a different invoice.

Even Accor stopped letting us use points for dine-in only. We are way too abused with the racist remark "redeemed".

Dude show ur loser attitude somewhere else, if u r having a miserable day nobody else is responsible for ur life, take ur own accountability urself, even if I wont be paying through cards, I had multiple other means to get the offers like corporate discounts or for group bookings they give special discounts. And making 2 groups sit together makes their job easier, its more convenient to them as well as the visitors. Your statement makes no sense. Get a life dude.

This statement is enough on how benefits are exploited
