Mumbai Japan flight and two days stop over at seoul using miles

I am trying to book two tickets for mumbai to japan flight with stop over in seoul- south korea for two days (due to some work) for may 2026- flexible with dates. Total duration 14-15 days including 2 days at seoul. I got 160k infinia points and 103k bonvoy points. I was trying to check sq miles but it is working out very expensive:
1. Mumbai to tokyo sq 34400 miles / INR 33162 - 10th may 2026
2. Tokyo to seoul- sq does not operate so korean air or asiana for around INR 15K - Can optimise through smart buy or hsbc travel portal or suggest if any other way?
3. Seoul to mumbai- sq 34400 miles or INR 29000 - 26th may 2026

TOTAL SQ POINTS 68800+ INR 15000 + TAXES ON POINTS REDEMPTION

Ticket inr rates are from sq website. Smart buy is showing weird rates-76k for above and travel one cannot check since hsbc travel portal is down since 7-10 days.

OPTION 2
SQ gives an option to select multi city in which when I select mumbai to japan and seoul to mumbai then cost comes to INR 48294. This price is non refundable and available only on direct website of sq. I can may be optimise further by using axis atlas to get 5% x 2= 10% miles or 20% accor value.

For japan to seoul I follow asiana/ korea air through smart buy redemption
All above calculations are for one person.
Please help in optimising above or suggest any other way I can do this. All these rates are economy. If any good deal for business class with above points that I have then I don't mind doing one leg.

# I believe you are doing a multi city trip. Seoul is where you're exiting from. Can't call it a stopover.

# With your Infinia stash, SQ is probably your best bet, atleast from miles + taxes perspective. Spontaneous Escapes (SE) is an ideal combo.
But if you need to book in advance, SE doesn't fly. You'll have to make do with paying usual mileage.
20% discount on redemptions have appeared twice this year from SQ, if my memory serves me right.
You can wait for this again, for some time. But these may be non refundable, so check TnC.

# I normally book, one ticket on miles and one on traveledge/smartbuy to optimise.
You can, briefly, wait for an airline sale & travelone to be back to see what works.

# ANA (JAL too) keeps having return flight + free domestic leg offers. A sale recently happened.
So be on the look out for these.
Atlas can be handy here.

# For business class deals, check for positioning flights (flights from a different city - entry and exit).

# Experience, flight times, lounges, wheretocredit, bonus, elite status amongst others too can play a role in your decision.

Thanks a lot for replying. I actually researched sq miles which is how I could get the breakup. The 34400 one leg economy mumbai to japan and 34400 seoul to mumbai are promotional miles fare- se I guess. Otherwise usually it is 43000 miles per sector. When I add total miles then it comes to 68,800 miles for sq- non refundable. But when I checked multi city fare for Mumbai to japan and seoul to mumbai then it showing INR 48k on Singapore airlines website- this is again non refundable. If I book multi city on smart buy then fare is shooting up to INR 72K.

I had checked ana sale offer too but that was return flight mumbai japan. Offer was not applicable when I selected multi city.
Even if I would have taken the deal at around INR 40k on jal with that offer I still had to book return flight from Japan to seoul which was nothing less than INR 25-30k. Plus multi entry visa cost and time waste on taking return trip flight. Which is why ruled out jal. Correct me if I am wrong

Japan to seoul doesn't seem to have any option apart from asiana and korea air- around INR 15k- funny part of smart buy for this is that it is showing 0kg hand luggage but if I book directly on airline website then at same fare or is showing 10kg hand luggage as well.
I even checked united airlines and over there it is working out to 70k miles plus taxes. I wanted to be sure if I am not missing out on any other option. I hope @anirban.choudhury helps with this. Business class most of the dates are waiting listed in May 2026 on sq website.
