Can I upgrade my regular Magnus to m4b and still retain the points?

So I have a regular Magnus with some points in it and im considering upgrading to m4b (Ill also have to update my account to burgundy ) my doubt is do my regular Magnus points get converted to m4b and can I access the 5:4 conversion instead of 5:2 ?

The key feature of Magnus Burgundy is that you don’t need Burgundy status upfront. You can simply get the regular Magnus card and spend as usual. Then, when it's time to redeem your points, you can acquire Burgundy status and upgrade your card to Magnus Burgundy. This allows you to retroactively enjoy the 5:4 transfer rate on the reward points you earned with your Vanilla Magnus card.

Yes for the points.
Upgrading to burgundy then maintaining it for 1-3 month makes u eligible for m4b
Then u can redeem all at 5.4 .
