Plan for 2025 BBD / GIF Sale [22 September]

Reader mode
Looking for a full size android phone (not compact ones). Thinking between oneplus 13 (16gb ram) and Samsung S24 Ultra.

Main priority regular updates for a long period, good UI exp (already using oneplus 11R), NFC must have. No games.

Priority- Performance>Battery>camera

Any suggestions even if apart from above choices ?

Will HDFC Swiggy Give 5% cashback on Samsung India Website?

Should I buy from Samsung directly or wait till bbd/GIF?

Wait until BBD.. the Samsung website offer will still be available during BBD days also

It's available for 35999 on the corporate store + 5000 HDFC discount = 30999. If you have any connections with any samsung employees or any of the companies that have collaboration with samsung you can get it.

Both are solid choices.

OnePlus 13 gives you a bigger battery, and since you’ve already used a OnePlus before, the experience will feel very familiar and smooth.

Samsung S24 Ultra stands out for its software, longer OS/security update support, and Samsung Wallet/Pay, which makes great use of NFC.


In day-to-day usage, you won’t really notice a big performance difference between the two. Personally, I find One UI more refined than OxygenOS.

Also as far as I remember in a battery drainage test OP 13 lasts for more than 1 hour extra in comparison to the S24 Ultra

Rightly said, only thing not able to decide due to below reasons

OP 13 has curved screen so tempered will not work. Now heard that ads have been added. + Dolby atmos has been removed

Samsung S24U - Doesn't cover green lines, charging is slow and its bulky (weight and width is more).

Rest waiting for S24U price

    Avoid pixel.
    I have seen various posts where they are suggesting to skip pixel.

    Vivo x200 fe has a good camera setup.

    13R is obviously better than Nord 5.
