Poll on DCB Metal Upgrade

Wanted to see who has actually switched from DCB Plastic (especially LTF version) to DCB Metal (FYF) and who is considering. The major drawback for me is that they charge Rs. 10000 + GST as renewal fees but do not give any renewal benefits for the same. This is actually a devaluation from DCB Plastic LTF.

Have seen this option for Sbi cards, where they need access to our accounts. When we try for Limit enhancement. Hdfc for limit enhancement is not at all easy compared to others. And now it has become even worse when it comes to upgrade and CLE.

All hdfc super premium cards are getting difficult. Specially for upgrading, now spend + CL also doesn't work like before it used to.

Maybe guessing the recent changes and the reason hdfc had of system issue during August for new upgrades to Infinia. The email of salary slips can again be tried next month, when things settle at their end.

In past for my limit upgrade, I did not have luck with the email requests. Finally as suggested by a credit card guy in the hdfc bank branch close to my location, I started doing manually. Sending self attested documents and form and submitting it to the same hdfc branch every 8 months and it did work (2 times).

Yeah offline application works, in my case also for 2nd core card
