MLP-649 Error With Axis Bank Credit card Application

I was trying to apply for a new credit card through Axis Mobile Banking as well as NetBanking, but I keep getting this error:

MLP-649

Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it? Has anyone else faced the same issue while applying?

Even there's an Card reference number starting with MLP#####.

Already confirmed with Axis Bank Customer support, there is no active credit card/ credit card application is present for my account.

Note:
Holding a Savings account with Axis.
Closed my Axis fd card 3 months ago.

it means u recently applied or closed a cc. no pre aproved offer for u. it will go after 6 month. or u can directly apply from axis website

MLP is for preaproved offers. its not giving u pre aproved. u can directly apply from website

Approval rate credit cards ka BBD sale , diwali sale and March end me jyada hota hai .
